Pamela Winston Bertani

Pamela Winston Bertani is a patent lawyer and litigator. Pam has solid work experience in facilitating commercial portfolio development, license negotiations and strategic business planning. Pam's daily practice includes evaluating intellectual property-related proprietary rights agreements and preparing transactional documentation regarding the disposition and enforcement of intellectual property assets. Pam also has significant experience in all aspects of civil litigation. As a former research immunologist, Pam has substantial experience designing and conducting protocols and managing related documentation for assessing pharmaceutical test products, as well as evaluating medical and scientific trends involving product liability litigation.

In 2007, Governor Schwarzenegger appointed Pam to the California Commission on Uniform State Laws and she continues to serve as a California Commissioner — drafting key uniform legislation and testifying before the State Legislature in Sacramento. In addition, Pam works as a youth mentor and teaches a life-skills course curriculum at the Heather House Shelter here in Fairfield. She is a member of the Interfaith Council — the governing board for the Heather House Shelter.

Pam's husband, Pastor Todd Bertani, is Senior Pastor at St. Mark's Lutheran Church here in Fairfield. Todd and Pam have two fantastic children, Tyler and Dylan, who both attend Rolling Hills Elementary School. Pam's mother, Georgia Winston, also lives here in Fairfield and enjoys hanging out with two of her favorite grandchildren!
